Bambino's Kindergarten at Harrington Park has been established as a 56 place centre with the newest, most exciting educational and play facilities. Opening hours are from 7.00am to 6.00pm, 5 days a week and we are open 51 weeks of the year. Bambino's Kindergarten caters for children from 0 - 6 years.
We also provide Sessional Education Programs for children aged 2 - 5 years, Before and After School Care and Vacation Care Programs. Bambino's Kindergarten's have always achieved high quality care by the National Childcare Accreditation Council.

Bambino's Kindergarten provides five nutritional meals each day. Breakfast from 7.00 - 8.00am, Morning Tea at 9.30am, Lunch at 11.30am - 12pm, Afternoon Tea at 2.30pm, Late Afternoon Tea at 5.00pm. Bambino's Kindergarten employs a part time cook who provides an excellent selection and variety of food for all the children.
Menus are planned and evaluated on an ongoing basis in the light of the current dietary guidelines and food preparation reflects the current food handling regulations to ensure a healthy, nutritious and balanced diet. The emphasis of our menu is on whole foods, plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
We encourage and promote a diet low in sugar, salt and saturated fats. The menu is full of variety taking into account food and ideas from around the world. Children are encouraged at times to help with the preparation with meals as well as assisting with cleaning up after they have eaten.
Sunscreen
Parents need to apply sun cream on their child each morning before leaving home. Staff will reapply in the morning and afternoon before going outside to play, all year round. Additional top us of sun cream will be applied if necessary.
Hats
Appropriate hats which cover the child's forehead and neck is essential in helping to protect your child from the sun. If children are not provided with a hat from home after a number of requests, Bambino's Kindergarten will purchase the hat and charge it to the parents account. Hats must be taken home weekly for washing.
Clothing
We ask that children be dressed in clothing, which will not restrict movement or inhibit their involvement in activities. Children in the older rooms are encouraged to be independent in dressing. Please bear this in mind when choosing shoes and clothes. To prevent loss and confusion, we ask that you label ALL your child's clothes clearly. Aprons are provided for messy activities, however, the paints, glues and dyes are washable and we hope that they are not too difficult to remove, however please take this into consideration when dressing your child for preschool. Please bring the following LABELLED items each day:
At least one complete change of clothes, including underwear.
Spare underwear/training pants (depending on the child).
One sun hat
Jacket (for changeable weather)
Nappies/Toilet Training: Please provide disposable nappies for your child/ren - daily supply (at least 4 nappies for one child). Please clearly label each nappy, which is brought into the centre. Staff are happy to assist you when you are commencing toilet training.
Bottles
If your child is on breast milk this must be supplied frozen in babies bottle. If your child is on milk or formula, prepared chilled bottles must be supplied. Please ensure your child's name is clearly marked on all bottles. Place bottles in bottle preparation area / refrigerator and advise staff of number of bottles. Drink cups are optional.
Dummies
Dummies must be provided, permanently labelled with the child's name in a marked small plastic container.
Fruit
Please bring in a fresh piece of fruit for your child to share and place it in the fruit basket provided in the kitchen serving window. It will be greatly appreciated if the fruit provided will be of a variety each day.
Sheets (2-5 years)
Fitted/cot sheets and blankets (seasonal) are to be provided by the parents and washed on the last day of attendance week. Again, please clearly label your child's linen and all bed linen MUST be stored in drawstring bags or pillow case bags, with child's name clearly marked on outside of bag.
